Agoraphobia Symptoms & Signs, Risk Factors, Complications


If you are a person who is unable buy food in a store, get on the subway, and never goes to theater or concert.  Or you are a person who prefers to stay locked up in your room for years instead of contacting the world.  This anxiety disorder is called agoraphobia. It also includes many interrelated and partly coincident phobias, the fear of traveling alone in public transport, fear of being in a public place, fear leave the house, fear of the crowd.

1. Most common reason why people with agoraphobia are afraid of the outer world is that they strongly believe they won’t be able to find an easy way to escape a difficult situation if one occurs while they are outside. In most cases, agoraphobia follows panic attacks people have when outside. And they fear the attack will occur again.
